I'm a Terrible Writer

Most students enter post-secondary education with one of two thoughts on academic writing. Some think they are excellent writers. The others, myself included, thought we were terrible writers. (Many graduate students and professors have these same ideas.) Did this mean we were,

  • Poor spellers?
  • Had poor penmanship when writing essay exams?
  • Lacked ideas?
  • Lacked confidence?
  • Not interested, or didn’t know how to edit?

Maybe, but more likely we lack an effective strategy, understanding, and some tools necessary to be successful academic writers.

To overcome this problem, I will be presenting information, examples, and providing links to help you produces superior work in a relatively ‘pain-free’ fashion.
